Good sized and soundproof room with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating and an electric kettle for an unforgettable stay. Lovely bed, great service...

Amazing and magnificent location by the hills on both sides, met requirements. The rooms were updated, soundproof with views over loch linnhe, ideal for us.
Their staff were not very helpful.

Lovely views of Loch Linnhe from our room.
Wi-Fi only available in the busy lounge area, making it hard to plan our trip.

We spent quite comfortable time and did not want to leave. We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 1 night, even so everything was good. Got family king room with views straight on to the water, books, for instance as expected. We loved the great restaurant and the food was splendid.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were able to bring our dog. The location was excellent for touring the peninsular.
The noise of the ferry first thing in the morning was an intrusion when the window was open, which it had to be. the food was not brilliant especially the ristotto which was inedible I'm afraid. The decor is a little tired in the rooms, no changes we could see from our last visit 7 years ago.

Very pleasant hotel. room was comfortable, food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The setting is priceless and being just over the ferry away from the crowds on the east bank of the loch ther was no traffic. the hotel accepts dogs which you can take in to the bar and is excellent for walking dogs especially ones that like swimming.

The staff were very kind and helpful; internet was available; breakfast was excellent, although we thought that it stopped being served too early. Location is beautiful!
No one told us that the ferry stopped running at 9:30 pm, which meant that instead of a five-minute ferry ride across a short piece of water, we had to drive around the end of the lake on a horrendously scary road in the dark, adding an hour to our journey. Ferry beginning and ending times should be posted in large font on the website linked to Booked.net! Also it was somewhat disappointing to get to breakfast and be told that I couldn't get anything cooked because the kitchen had closed five minutes earlier. After my night's harrowing experience driving (on the "wrong" side of the road, for me!) and arriving at midnight, I thought that it would have been kind for the kitchen to help me out, especially as I was actually sitting at a table, just not catching the waitstaff's attention, apparently, on time.

Consider bringing a lightweight bag for easier navigation through the winding path to your room, as access can be challenging with larger luggage.
